Getting started should feel simple, but a careful first step matters: download the app only from Ledger’s official website or an official app store listing that you have independently verified. Open the application, connect and unlock your Ledger device, then follow the on-screen prompts to view the accounts associated with it.

There is no web page where you need to type your 24-word recovery phrase to log in. That phrase is the master backup to your wallet, so keep it private, offline, and out of messages, forms, screenshots, and websites. Ledger Live cannot restore your wallet by asking you to disclose it. Be cautious of sponsored search results, unsolicited support messages, lookalike domains, and urgent requests to “verify” your wallet.
